You may well have had read around the propeller4film site before you got to this section. We’ve tried to cover a lot of ground in the support of filmmakers in lots of ways: information, news, the funding database, festival notifications, never mind showing great little films made by you and your colleagues in the industry. But we’ve kept a little golden nugget till last.

You may well have a film that you've poured your heart and soul into and money and time and started to put together a festival strategy or begun the hard work of contacting key people to help you promote it. You might even be an old hand and know a few tricks and be a bit cynical about how the industry works. You might even have come to the conclusion that the industry works for the benefit of everyone except you, the filmmaker.

You may be weighing up the odds and wondering what to do next. You’ve read our distribution options pages. You’ve got the hints about pitfalls and traps and maybe getting a bit…daunted or worried about who to work with. We understand that.

We work with buyers who acquire for various clients from many areas: education, corporate, mobile phones right through to providing entertainment on television or IPTV. They come straight to us when they’re looking for film and TV content from our catalogue, because they want to buy quality and propeller4film is synonymous with quality.

We are active, supportive and responsive with the films in our catalogue. We understand the industry and we work in an ethical and positive way for the filmmaker community.

If we feel we can sell your short film we will ask you to sign a distribution agreement. Our commission is 30% of any sale plus any additional postage & DVD duplication costs. 

If accepted, your film will be incorporated on the secure buyers area of the propeller4film website (making it easier for buyers to screen and buy your work) and it will be circulated on screeners to over 100 UK & worldwide short film buyers as part of the propeller catalogue of quality shorts.

We will actively promote your film at short film markets and will contact you immediately when we secure a sale.
