Types of Music Licence
If you're planning on adding music to a film it's important to understand what rights or permissions you need to clear before making it publicly available. Different types of music require different rights and a summary of these can be found in the downloadable PDF document, along with the numbers to assist with clearance.
production
Location, location, location whether you’re in the studio or out filming in the wilds everyone needs to know where to be, when to be there and why. And you’ll have to be quite good at locating all the records, files, forms, receipts, lists and, somewhere, the film tapes and numbered takes. The word is Organised. The word before all those p-words.
call sheet
Issue your daily call sheet to cast and crew in advance of the shoot date to ensure they turn up on time and in the right location.
You can add other useful information such as which scenes and script pages are being shot, parking instructions and safety notes.
