Filmmaker Mike Hallett has a quirky style that examines the darker corners of the human condition, finding dignity and compassion while retaining a keen eye for the absurd. Mike's style is epitomised by My Favourite Time of the Day, a black comedy about the unholy trinity of religion, masturbation and teddy bears, which was nominated for the Channel Islanders Film Award at the 2008 Branchage Jersey International Film Festival and also screened at CineKink 2009 in New York City.
